Aleksandra is a Polish illustrator living by the seaside in New Zealand. After earning a master’s degree in landscape architecture, she decided to try something completely different and moved across the world to begin the career she had dreamed of for years—illustrating books. Since starting her illustration journey in 2017, she has illustrated over 40 children’s books, board books, and games. Inspired by nature and everyday moments, she now works mostly with traditional tools like gouache and watercolors, adding final touches digitally. Whether drawing animals, people, or imaginary creatures, her goal remains the same: to make something honest, beautiful, and a little bit magical.
